The same pattern shows up every time a software category goes through its platform moment. WordPress in 2011. Salesforce a few years earlier. Atlassian after that. The iPhone, in the consumer space, before any of them. Each one started life as a product. Each one became a platform. The companies that managed the transition own their category two decades later. The ones that did not are footnotes.

I think Nextcloud is in front of that transition right now, and I do not think the field around it has noticed yet.

Dit is Deel 1 van een vierdelige tutorial waarin we DeskDesk bouwen, een flexibele bureau-reserveringsapp voor een open-kantoor-omgeving, op de volledige Conduction Nextcloud-stack. Het eindproduct: kies een bureau op een verdieping, boek een slot, zie je boeking in je Nextcloud Calendar, en haal zone-specifieke kennisartikelen uit xWiki op naast de boeking. Elk onderdeel hergebruikt wat @conduction/nextcloud-vue en OpenRegister je al gratis geven.

In Deel 1 zet je de app op, hernoem je hem, bouw je hem, en zie je het canonieke app-chassis op je scherm. Geen data, nog geen integraties. We krijgen eerst het skelet goed.

Voor elke andere tutorial in deze academy heb je een werkende Nextcloud nodig. Dit is de snelste route: drie commando's en je draait de officiële Nextcloud-image lokaal, identiek aan productie. Geen sales-call, geen demo-omgeving die offline kan, geen custom Dockerfile. Daarna installeer je de Conduction-apps via de Nextcloud app store, hetzelfde pad als productie.
