Hermiq

The assistant that works in every app on your Nextcloud. Chat with it, give it jobs on a schedule, and decide exactly what it may do.

Hermiq is the AI assistant for the Nextcloud workspace. Talk to it from Nextcloud Talk, also from your phone in the car. It can act in every Conduction app: log the call, plan the follow-up, draft the reply, pull the list. Give it jobs on a schedule: every Monday at eight, the quotes nobody followed up. You decide per assistant what it may do. Writes are off until you allow them, sensitive steps wait for your approval, and everything it does is logged. It runs on your own server, and by default the AI itself runs there too, so nothing goes out. Open source, released under EUPL-1.2 and maintained by Conduction.
What it does

Chat away while your apps do the work.

An assistant that knows your CRM, your invoices, your files, your mail and your calendar. You talk, it acts. You set the rules, it keeps to them. Everything stays on your own server.

Talk to it where you already talk. Also on your phone.

Back in the car after a client visit. Open Nextcloud Talk on your phone and say "log my call with Jansen, they want the quote in May". The call is logged, the follow-up is planned, the reminder is drafted. Ask "which deals went quiet this month?" out loud and it reads you the list. Order it to prepare the quotation and a draft waits at the office. In a group conversation it only answers when you mention it.

Jobs on a schedule. Monday at eight, done.

Today: someone remembers to check the open quotes, or nobody does. Instead: every Monday at eight the assistant lists the quotes nobody followed up and posts it in your sales chat. Every morning at seven, a briefing in the team chat: what is due today, what came in overnight. Reply in that chat and it picks up where the report left off.

It can act in every Conduction app.

Log the call in the CRM. Add the action point in the meeting minutes. Find the contract in Files. Put the site visit in the calendar. Draft the reply in Mail. Every action an app offers, the assistant can do for you, as you, with your permissions. Whatever you could not do, it cannot do either.

You decide what it may do. Everything is logged.

Per assistant you tick what it may read and what it may change. Changes are off until you switch them on. Sensitive steps, like sending mail to a client, wait in your approval inbox first. Every step it takes is written to a log you can read back. One switch stops every assistant at once.

On your own server. Nothing goes out.

The assistant runs on your Nextcloud, and by default the AI itself runs on your own hardware. Your client data does not travel to a cloud AI unless you choose one. Names and numbers are stripped before anything is stored in the log. Built for the EU AI Act, so the paperwork is there when someone asks.

Four ways Hermiq earns its place

It works the way you work. And it works for you.

Four things you would normally hire an extra pair of hands for. Here they come with the workspace.

Automate

Monday at eight, the list is in the chat. Nobody had to remember.

Give the assistant a job and a time. Every Monday: the quotes nobody followed up, per salesperson, in the sales chat. Every morning: the briefing, what is due today and what came in overnight. Every first of the month: the invoices past due, with the client and the amount. Or step it into an automation you drew: when a complaint comes in, it drafts a summary onto the record before anyone opens it. Every run is logged, and it only does what you allowed.

How automation works
Make it yours

Your assistant, your rules, your instructions.

Make one assistant for sales, one for the office, one for the fleet manager. Per assistant you tick what it may read and what it may change: this one logs calls, that one only reads. Give it your own instructions: how you address clients, which products you push this quarter, what it must never do. Add a skill and it learns a new task. Change your mind? Untick, and it stops that same minute.

How permissions work
Talk to it

From your phone, in the car, in Nextcloud Talk.

No new app to install on your phone. The assistant sits in Nextcloud Talk like a colleague, and in the car you just talk to it. Say "plan a follow-up with Bakker next Tuesday at ten" and it is in your calendar. Ask "what did we agree with De Vries?" and it reads it back from the record. Order it to prepare the quotation and the draft waits for your review. In a group chat it only speaks when you mention it. Every message runs as you, with your permissions, so it never sees more than you do.

How the Talk bot works
Let clients help themselves

Clients get answers without waiting for your team.

The assistant helps your team all day. Your clients get their own door with Portaliq: a portal in your house style where they see their contracts and products, ask and sign quotations, and follow their tickets. The question that used to be a phone call is now a click, answered from the same records your team works in. Your people keep the conversations that actually need a person.

Give clients their own portal
How Hermiq plugs into the workspace

Talk, mail, calendar, contacts, files. And every Conduction app.

The assistant lives where your team already works. It reads and acts in the tools you have, as you, with your permissions.

The assistant is a participant in your Talk conversations. Chat with it one to one, or mention it in a team room. Its scheduled reports land in the room you choose, and a reply in that room continues the conversation. Nothing to install on your phone: the Talk app you have is enough. Each turn runs as the person who typed it.
