What it is

Keycloak as a Nextcloud app.

Keycloak is the open-source identity-and-access platform from Red Hat. We package it as a Nextcloud-installable sidecar. You install the app, the upstream container runs alongside Nextcloud, and the SAML, OIDC, and OAuth flows are reachable from every other app in the workspace. Same upstream, less DevOps.

Why a sidecar

A sidecar is not a fork.

We do not fork Keycloak. The sidecar tracks upstream releases. The wrapper handles install, lifecycle, and the SSO koppelvlak to Nextcloud. Your identity records stay in the upstream service. Conduction is responsible for the integration, not for upstream Keycloak.
