What it is

OpenZaak as a Nextcloud app.

OpenZaak is the Common Ground case-management API. We package it as a Nextcloud-installable sidecar. You install the app, the upstream container runs alongside Nextcloud, and the ZGW endpoints are reachable from OpenConnector. Same upstream, less DevOps.

Why a sidecar

A sidecar is not a fork.

We do not fork OpenZaak. The sidecar tracks upstream releases. The wrapper handles install, lifecycle, and the koppelvlak to Nextcloud. Your case data stays in the upstream service. Conduction is responsible for the integration, not for upstream OpenZaak.
